A driver was injured in a recent West St. Louis County car accident and he currently remains in the hospital at this time.

According to police officials, the accident took place at the intersection of Wild Horse Creek and Highway 109 when the man’s vehicle left the side of the road for unknown reasons.

This then caused the vehicle to go down the side embankment before finally coming to a stop when it overturned on its side.

The driver was then airlifted to the hospital in order to be treated for what are considered non-life threatening injury.


Cobb County police are currently investigating an accident that took the life of one person.

According to officials, a 66-year-old man was crossing the road, but was not in a crosswalk, when he was struck by a car. He was transported to Emory Adventist Hospital in order to be treated, but was later pronounced dead due to injuries sustained in the collision.

The driver stopped at the scene in order to talk with police, and no charges are expected to occur at this time. A second pedestrian also injured another man when he was struck while walking against the light.


Atlanta Braves Pitcher, Tommy Hanson, is back in Spring training camp after being involved in a car accident.

According to officials, Hanson was on his way to a pitcher’s training camp when his car blew a tire as he was attempting a left turn. Hanson ran off the roadway and into the grassy field of an embankment before coming to a stop. He was left with a concussion after the accident, but has now recovered and returned to training camp.

“It could have been a lot worse,” Hanson said, sharing details of the wreck for the first time. “I’m alive. I’m good. I’m healthy. There’s nothing wrong. I didn’t break anything. I just kind of rattled my head a little bit. I’m trying to look at the positives.”


An semi-truck accident on Interstate 75 caused the road to be closed after a hazardous chemical spilled on to it.

According to authorities in Atlanta, the accident occurred near exit 326 on Carbondale Road when the tractor trailer flipped and rolled over.  The truck was carrying formaldehyde when it tipped over.

The southbound lanes of the highway were closed for quite some time as a result of the crash. The accident occurred at 6 a.m. on friday and there has been no official word on what caused the accident at this time.


Police shut down southbound lanes of I-75 in order to clear the scene and investigate a fatal truck and car crash that occurred in the area.

The accident occurred just 5 a.m. in Gordon County, northwest Georgia, when a semi-trailer somehow lost control on the roadway. The truck was carrying carpet loading equipment and it spilled onto the roadway as a result of the collision.

One person was killed in the crash, but further details of what happened has not been released at this time. The southbound lanes were closed well into the morning rush hour traffic.


After the death of a beloved Atlanta police officer, police are putting more emphasis on the state’s “move over law.” This law states that drivers should move over a lane of traffic, if possible, when they see a police car on the shoulder of the road.

Another officer narrowly missed being struck by a vehicle and had to leap onto the median in order to avoid a collision. The officer was pulled over on the side of the road in order to help a driver that was stranded.

This incident occurred on Donald Lee Holloway Parkway only two days after another officer was struck and killed while assisting another officer with a stop. Police officers are urging drivers to stay alert while on the road and to keep an eye out for police officers that are stopped on the road.


An Atlanta police officer was killed as a result of a drunk driving crash that occurred Tuesday night.

The 15-year police veteran arrived at the scene of previous accident in order to assist in the investigation. The woman had just gotten out of the car when she was struck by another vehicle.

The second vehicle was driven by a 22-year-old woman and she has been charged with driving under the influence, vehicular homicide and reckless driving. According to police officials, the driver blew a .16 in the breathalyzer test after the accident occurred. She was booked into Fulton County Jail where she is awaiting a hearing.


The woman who was killed in a tractor trailer crash that occurred at the State Route 316 merger on Interstate 85, has now been identified by officials.

According to Gwinnett police, the 26-year-old Atlanta woman was involved in a crash when she was attempting to merge on the roadway and collided into the back of a tractor trailer that had run out of gas while driving. The tractor trailer was stopped between the interstate and the on-ramp.

The woman’s car went underneath the tractor trailer and the driver had to be extricated from the car as a result. The woman sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident. The driver of the tractor trailer did not suffer any injury and the accident remains under investigation at this time.


A man has been critically injured after an Atlanta car accident that occurred near the Fernbank Museum.

The accident occurred as a man was driving a Nissan Altima and he crossed the center line for unknown reasons causing his vehicle to strike a Dodge caravan taxi that was traveling in the oncoming direction.

The man was trapped inside the car for nearly and hour while crews attempted to extricate him from the car. He was then taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in order to be treated for serious internal and head injuries. The taxi driver suffered a broken leg as a result. Police are still investigating the crash and have not released the victims’ names at this time.


A former NBA player has been charged after he left the scene of an accident in Florida.

According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the man was driving his Cadillac Escalade in Broward County when he veered off the road and crashed into two trees. After he struck the trees, he was able to get out of the car and walk away.

He was later found in his home by police where he admitted that he was at a bar previously in the night. He was not charged with drunk driving after the accident,but was charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
